All systems go for the finals of this year’s U20 Barthes Trophy

All teams in this year’s U20 Barthes Trophy carried out their final preparations with the Captains’ runs at the Nyayo National Stadium on Saturday 29th April. With the Captains’ runs done, we are all systems go for the final day of the U20 Barthes Trophy.

The final day will see Uganda take on Madagascar in the 7th place playoff match at 9 am, which will have repercussions on who stays in the U20 Barthes Trophy competition and who drops to the repechage.

In the 5th place playoff, Ivory Coast will take on Zambia at 11.30 am before the 3rd place match between Namibia and Tunisia takes center stage at exactly 2 pm.

The match everyone is highly pumped for will then kicks off at 4.30 pm, the grand final of the tournament pitting hosts the Kenya U20 and the Junior Sables of Zimbabwe.
